Mara Geronemus
Mara is a Founding Partner at JG Legal. She is a corporate attorney and often serves as outside in-house counsel to support companies and professionals with all aspects of their daily business operations. Mara’s practice is focused on preparing and negotiating commercial contracts, providing guidance for business transactions, and advising on general corporate matters. Mara is also a proud co-founder of All Before Dinner, a national networking group for working women.
In her community, Mara serves as a Vice Chair of the Board of the Miami Beach JCC, and a past President of the Board of Lehrman Community Day School. She received her J.D. from New York University School of Law and her B.A. from Duke University. Mara lives on Miami Beach, where she enjoys spending time on the beach, reading and being with her family.
Lisa Jerles
Lisa Jerles is a Founding Member of JG Legal. Lisa draws upon her 15 years of litigation experience to help her clients navigate the bumpy waters of business conflict – whether through litigation, mediation, or pre-suit advising. Lisa focuses on high-stakes business disputes and litigation strategy. Lisa is also a co-founder of All Before Dinner, a networking group that prioritizes professional mothers and is committed to referring business to working women.
A Miami native, Lisa is very active in her community. She is currently the president of Hillel at Florida International University and serves on the board of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. Lisa has a B.A. in English from Barnard College and a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. In her free time, Lisa enjoys cooking, traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
